Salary Scale 3 £18,795-£19,171 per annum pro rata

Learn Telford provides opportunities to adults aged 19+ who live in the Telford area to improve their skills through a range of learning opportunities and targets adults who are unemployed, low skilled or disadvantaged.

We were judged as a good provider with outstanding features by Ofsted at our last inspection in March 2016, and we strive to provide outstanding learning opportunities to our local communities. We work hard to help learners progress into further learning or employment when they complete our programmes and use a wide range of partners to support this.

The courses that we provide are funded by the Skills Funding Agency and our learning offer includes functional English, maths and ESOL alongside sector specific courses, employability skills and provision designed to improve wellbeing, in addition to family learning courses delivered to parents in schools.

As the Direct Delivery Support Officer you will undertake a variety of general and specific administrative tasks that support the smooth running of our Adult Learning in the community.

This will include using paper and electronic data systems, responding to learner and tutor enquiries and general administration to meet the needs of our small direct delivery team.

Customer service skills and organisational skills are key in managing day to day tasks combined with clear communication with learners, tutors, venues and staff from partner organisations and regular review of priorities and workload.

This is a varied and interesting role and if you like a challenge and want to develop your skills in a busy environment we’d love to hear from you.

For an informal chat about the role please call Gill Wiseman on 01952 382888.
