This is an exciting opportunity to join apT, a pioneering public sector development consultancy, which is part of Telford & Wrekin Council. apT brings together a dynamic team of Planners, Building Surveyors, Highway Engineers, Built Heritage Specialists, Ecologists, and other key specialisms. From the processing of regulatory applications within Telford & Wrekin, to the provision of enhanced services across the region, we are passionate about tailoring spaces and creating places.

Joining our team as a Built Heritage Specialist you will promote high quality design, and the protection and enhancement of heritage assets. You will strive to find solutions and opportunities that support the use, life and function of the assets with todays world.
You will also have opportunities to work with a wide range of clients from providing specific heritage focused work, to providing enhanced planning services, and engaging with other specialists on an exciting range of projects.
You will have excellent communication skills, and full membership of the IHBC, together with relevant experience in Development Management, having good knowledge of processes involved in planning applications and appeals.
