Who are we?

Pride in Camp Hill (PinCH) is a company limited by guarantee, working in partnership with Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council (NBBC), Warwickshire County Council (WCC), Homes England and the residents and businesses of Camp Hill.

The overarching aim for the Pride in Camp Hill Regeneration Programme is to deliver transformational change by integrating Social, Physical and Economic Regeneration policy locally.

PinCH Management Company Ltd is a trading company. The Board consists of a number of directors which is no less than 11 and no more than 16 out of which 5 shall be Resident Directors.

The Board’s role is to provide strategic direction and to govern, control and scrutinise the group’s operations.

1. Have a positive and constructive approach to the role of the board and delegate responsibility appropriately;

2. Have a willingness to work as part of a team, with respect and tolerance for others;

3. Understand governance and how boards should add value;

4. Able to chair complex discussions and summarise appropriately

5. Able to lead debates in an open and inclusive manner

6. Have the capacity to develop effective working relationships with people, e.g. board members, executives and staff and key stakeholders;

7. Be able to contribute to board discussion and decision making and apply knowledge and experience appropriately to the work of the board;

Relevant experience as a Chair in similar organisation or senior board experience.

Experience of providing strategic direction.

Have strong commercial acumen and analytical capability.

Have an ability to read, understand, absorb and analyse verbal, written and numerical information and respond as appropriate

Have experience and skills in one of more of the following areas –

• Banking or Treasury

• Housing

• Legal

• Development & Regeneration

• Construction

• Audit

• Finance

• Commerciality

Time Commitment

Management Board

The PinCH Board hold board meetings once a quarter (March, June, September, and December) lasting approximately 2 hrs each time. The meetings are usually during the evening 6.30pm – 8.30pm. The commitment required of the Chair will naturally be greater.

In addition you may be required to attend planning and training events and to engage in correspondence outside of the meeting schedule.
