WME Director of HR, Membership and Corporate Services
WME is full of potential and in this senior leadership role you will have the ability to shape the role and the services we deliver, you will need to be flexible as no day is ever the same, you need to be someone who is happy to have many plates spinning! You need to be prepared to genuinely ‘get stuck in’ lead service development and deliver them.
We are looking for an experienced HR professional, ideally someone who has experience of working in both private and public sectors and as an internal or external consultant. You will be part of the WME Leadership Team and present reports to our Elected Member Management Board, you will be expected to contribute to the strategic direction and growth of the organisation, generating ideas for new services and converting these into services and products. A large focus of Autumn 2019 will be on us re-shaping our ‘core membership offer’ it’s a great opportunity to shape this and then you will then be responsible for making sure all organisations get maximum benefit from being members of us.
Coupled with balancing your Strategic Leadership role, you will also be required to deliver high level consultancy support, achieve financial income targets and to advise local authorities on sensitive areas of work - you need to be skilled and confident in all 3.

A full day Assessment Centre will be held on 1st August in central Birmingham
Final panel interviews will take place on Wednesday 7th August in central Birmingham
