ASSISTANT HOUSEPARENT/PERSONAL ASSISTANT:    (Ref: C194/0719)

2 – 4 Vacancies, between 10 / 25 / 35 hours

SCP 2 – 6, £17,711 - £19,171 (pro rata hours worked)

We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic members of staff to provide a high standard of care to students with a vision impairment, in a proficient and sensitive manner that will enhance their academic and social development.  Direct contact with the students involves developing and delivering care programmes appropriate to their age and understanding.  Experience of ASD and Autism would be an advantage, as would be the ability to be firm and persistent in the face of challenges.  Your likely pattern of working will be as below (but this is at the discretion of the

Senior Houseparent):

07.30 – 09.30:  Monday to Friday – 2 posts @ 10hours

17.00 – 22.00:  Monday to Thursday + either Friday or Sunday evenings 

2 posts @ 25 hours.
