ACTUAL SALARY £10,438-£11,990

REQUIRED - AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

Bridge Short Stay School provides an education for KS3-KS4 students in the Lichfield and Burntwood District who are either permanently excluded from school, in danger of losing their mainstream place, experiencing emotional health issues or students who have recently moved into the area.  Bridge staff are dedicated to improving the life chances of students and wherever possible encouraging them to return to mainstream education where possible.  Bridge Short Stay School is now a place where students can achieve and exceed previous expectations. We have a strong, supportive staff team in an environment where there is a positive ethos and a sense of enjoyment.

We are looking for a HLTA to work with KS3/4 students as soon as possible.  You will be providing in class support across the curriculum. It is not necessary to have worked in a Short Stay School (Pupil Referral Unit) but you should be skilled and experienced at working with young people who have emotional and behavioural difficulties.  Enthusiasm, resilience and a sense of humour are necessities for this post, together with a commitment to team working.

Following our recent Ofsted Inspection in June 2019 we are pleased to announce that the school achieved ‘Good’ in all areas.

For further information please contact Lynnette Abell on 01543 255872 or office@bridge.staffs.sch.uk.  All completed application forms to be emailed to office@bridge.staffs.sch.uk

Closing date – Friday 12th July, 2019

Interviews – w/b 15th July, 2019
