Prison Library Supervisor
Salary: £18,319 per annum (pro rata)
22 Hours per week - Permanent
HMPYOI Swinfen Hall is a category C men's prison and young offenders institution. The Library is staffed by a team of 2 library assistants led by the Library Supervisor and is a well-used and valued resource within the prison. The Library is open daily Monday to Saturday, this 22 hour part-time post operates Monday to Friday. The Library is a branch of Staffordshire Library Service and the on site staff work closely with library staff in the other prison libraries in the County, as well as with on site Education and Prison staff. The role requires a positive and proactive person with great customer service skills and a love of reading. We are looking for a confident person with integrity and a strong work ethic.
