Connected Person Social Worker
About Us
We are looking for a Connected Person Social worker to join our supportive and energetic team. The social workers, family support workers and team manager are well established and dynamic. The role involves working closely with the children's teams, families, other professionals and legal. You will be completing connected person's assessments and making recommendations about their ability to care for children; this may be under a Special Guardianship, Child Arrangement Order or Foster Carer route.
We have developed a new team who are supporting families when a Special Guardianship order is made and you will work closely with that team to ensure support plans are effective and meaningful.
