An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 12 month secondment to work on the Marmot Agenda around reducing health inequalities in Coventry. 

If you are passionate about improving the lives of people in the community, then this is a fantastic opportunity to experience how Coventry works across the City with its partners to reduce inequalities.

The role of Programme Officer in the Inequalities Team, is a small team in Public Health which has a big impact across the local authority and beyond, advising how health inequalities should be considered in every major decision. The Marmot city brand is internationally recognised and staff from Public Health travel across the UK to talk about the way in which Coventry is tackling inequalities.

You will be dynamic and self-motivated and willing to make a difference. Previous experience within Public Health or a related profession would be an advantage.

Working Hours:  37.0 Hours per Week
