Job Details

Home First is a Hoople support service run in partnership with Herefordshire Council to enable people to live independently in their own homes. As an Assessment & Review Officer within Home First, your role will be exciting and varied – you will be delivering rehabilitation programmes, demonstrating mobility aids and supporting people to leave hospital all within the same day! You will be assessing people in their own homes for suitability to our service.

This role with Home First is a great opportunity to work in a team who are doing meaningful work supporting the local community whilst taking advantage of a whole range of benefits which include:
• Salary range - £18,0401 - £22,688
• Paid mileage – 45p per mile
• 25 annual leave days + bank holidays (30 days after 5 years)
• Buy/sell annual leave
• Sick pay – between 1 to 3 months full pay dependent on length of service
• TOIL and paid overtime
• Uniform, mobile phone and laptop included

Experience of working in health or social care is essential but training will be included free of charge as part of a comprehensive Induction programme. This is an excellent opportunity to develop new skills with ongoing opportunities for further career development. Access to a car is essential.

Home First Assessment & Review Officers cover a shift pattern which includes early, late and weekend shifts. (07.00 - 15.00 and 14.00 - 22.00) over an equitable rota.
