We are seeking to appoint a Site Services Officer to help to ensure the smooth running and maintenance of the school by performing daily operational duties comprising janitorial, cleaning and maintenance tasks, providing support to other departments and liaising with contractors on site, overseeing their work and safety.

You will be committed to building brighter futures and educated to GSCE level or equivalent in English and Maths. You will be expected to work as part of a team in undertaking general maintenance tasks and works including carpentry, plumbing, decorating and general repairs.

You will be able to work in accordance with the Schools Safeguarding policies and procedures ensuring these are implemented in line with the values of the Trust. You will need to be able to communicate in a friendly and effective manner with staff, students, parents, lettings and visitors to site, be highly organised, able to prioritise and work calmly under pressure dealing with situations calmly and efficiently and ensure that consistently high quality work is produced within strict deadlines.

Work Pattern

37 hours a week, all year round – A flexible approach to working hours is required
