Salary G5 £20,143- £23,600 per annum
This is a 12 month fixed term contract
Walsall Council has an exciting opportunity for an Admin Officer (Specialist) to join our Fostering Panel Team. This is a 12 month contract working with professional advisers, other professionals, and Managers, ensuring that the panel’s requirements are met.
As part of this role, you will support Children’s Services in undertaking and completing complex tasks. You will provide effective and efficient support that enables the provision of a quality service to children, young people, their families and the community.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an administrative environment, preferable within a Children’s Service organisation. You should have excellent organisational and communication skills, the ability to manage deadlines and work confidently under pressure.
Experience of IT software is important, specifically Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook).
This is a rewarding role working with a friendly team, who are supportive of each other and are highly committed to making a difference.
