Level 3 Teaching Assistant

We are looking to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant for 32.5 hours per week, on a permanent basis. Term time only, Grade 5

The successful candidate will have a positive attitude in the classroom, command respect from learners and engage students to achieve their potential.

Must have experience of leading/managinga team of teaching assistants and experience of delivering intervention.

Level 3 staff provide more specific support and work under the supervision and guidance of a classroom teacher. The basic entry requirement is NVQ 2 and staff who are not already qualified are required to work towards it.

Must have experience of leading/managing a team of teaching assistants and experience of delivering intervention.

Key Features: To undertake work/care/support programmes, to enable access to learning and to assist a teacher in the management of students and the classroom. To support teaching staff in the development and education of students including the provision of specialist skills as appropriate.
