Home School Link Worker/Family Liaison Officer
Etching Hill CE Primary School is a vibrant, exciting and ambitious school. We are seeking to appoint a Home School Link Worker/Family Liaison Officer to work in partnership with our children and their families.
The Home School Link Worker/Family Liaison Officer will work alongside existing teaching and pastoral staff to provide valuable support for our pupils. The successful candidate will support children and their families and reduce barriers to learning. This will involve supporting children and their families in a variety of ways, from monitoring attendance and delivering a range of interventions, to forming partnerships with outside agencies in order to meet the needs of individual children and their families.
The post holder will work 12 hours per week during term time (organisation of hours to be agreed with successful candidate but either start or end of the school day will be essential)
The successful candidate will demonstrate high expectations of themselves and pupils, as well as strong commitment and enthusiasm for the school vision and ethos.
You will have commitment and enthusiasm, as well as experience of working with children and their families. You will have evidence of good interpersonal skills, maintaining confidentiality, patience, flexibility, creativity and discretion. You will become part of our dedicated team, working to ensure that our children receive the very best support.
