Job Details

Temporary Contract to 31st October 2019 – 36 hours per week

Working pattern – Two week rota

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday

We have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic, confident and flexible individual with experience of providing excellent customer service to join the Bromsgrove Library team.   You would be based at Bromsgrove but would work at Catshill and Rubery libraries too on a rota basis.  Flexibility and an ability to travel are essential.  As a Library Customer Advisor you will work as a member of the library team delivering a wide range of literacy, reading, IT and learning services as well as helping to promote wider community participation. You will have a good understanding of information resources, be comfortable working closely with partner organisations and be able to demonstrate a positive and proactive approach to customer service to all customers including children and young people.  You will have an opportunity to lead activities such as Bounce and Rhyme.  If you have an interest in new ideas, a willingness to embrace change and would like to be part of a forward thinking service we would love to hear from you.   If you are successful in your application, you will be invited to an Assessment Centre on Wednesday 21st August 2019, and potentially a further interview on Thursday 22nd August 2019.    If you require more information please contact nhitchcock@worcestershire.gov.uk or cwilson4@worcestershire.gov.uk
