Educational Psychologist

We place a high value on the work-life balance of our EPs and we all have the opportunity to work from home or to access non-designated office bases, and to work flexible hours.

You must be HCPC registered, awaiting confirmation of HCPC registration, or on a recognised professional educational psychology training course.

Warwickshire EPS is a community focused service, which strives for inclusion by removing barriers. We are a strong, vibrant and expanding service working across three geographic teams, and accessible to over 250 education providers.

Each team has a Senior EP Team Manager, and excellent/effective business support. All schools continue to have a named link EP and the range of work undertaken by all EPs is hugely varied. The well-founded reputation of the service and evidence of positive outcomes has led to increasing strategic engagement; with commissions from within the LA,with Warwickshire's range of 'education providers' and with other settings.

EPs in Warwickshire say: 'I have always felt welcomed, actively included and supported....', 'my professional skills go from strength to strength', ' I love the range of opportunities open to all: virtual school, trauma informed and attachment aware training, neuro development team in CAMHs, In Year Fair Access', 'this EPS stands out to me because of the cohesive nature of the team', 'the planned for 5 service days of training.....is an amazing CPD opportunity...the whole team will work through it together, meaning we can expand our learning through peer supervision', 'I like the flexibility of work, and of working', 'the consultative emphasis of the service, using tools such as Circle of Adults'.

Would you like to join us? Do you want to be challenged to use educational psychology to facilitate and coach improved outcomes across a variety of traded and statutory clients, from within a supportive, flexible, responsive, and ethically driven working environment? Do you want to work in partnership with EP colleagues and others on a range of projects of interest? Do you appreciate high quality CPD and want to further develop areas of specialism? If you would welcome opportunities to be part of a learning organisation that seeks leadership across all members, then please apply.

Key Skills and Experience: We need motivated, enthusiastic, skilled, creative and successful EPs able to improve outcomes for children, young people and families through individual, group, and system level activity, and through research and project work. A reflective practitioner, resilient, solution orientated, and an excellent communicator.

If you identify with the descriptions provided, we want to hear from you, whether you are an experienced EP or in your third or second year of training.
