Do you want to make a real difference to the lives of our children? Do you want to work in a nurturing school, where we care about every child and member of staff? If so, the children of Burnt Tree Primary School are looking for you?
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and highly skilled Level 3 Learning Support Practitioner, to join our team of strong support staff.
The role will require a high level of experience of working with children in key stage 2 as initially the role is for classroom support in a year 4 class and KS2 interventions. The role is full-time, working every morning within the classroom providing general classroom support and working with groups of children to support their learning. In the afternoon the role will be planning and delivering appropriate interventions to identified children. We are looking for someone who:
- is enthusiastic and well-motivated
- has good interpersonal skills
- has a commitment to working in partnership with parents and carers
Burnt Tree Primary is a “good school” (Ofsted 2019) our children are friendly, enthusiastic and keen to learn. The staff work exceptionally well together and there is an excellent programme of professional development. The successful candidate must have previous experience of providing classroom support, be able to use their own initiative, have good time management skills and be able to work as part of a team. The successful candidate will also hold a relevant Level 3 qualification. We welcome flexible, dedicated staff who will support the caring ethos of the school.
