The Role
Coten End Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic PE & School Sport Leader.
The successful candidate will work across Reception, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Their duties will include: sports leadership with groups and classes, supporting staff in their PE professional development, leading on extra-curricular activities, increasing activity levels in all children and organising maximum participation in competitions and festivals. Candidates must have a passion for Teaching and Learning in PE and School Sport.
The school will provide an effective team of colleagues to support and further develop the successful candidate both personally and professionally. However, the successful candidate must be willing to undertake further training as necessary to fulfil all of the requirements of the role.
22.5 Hours per Week
Key Requirements
• Experience of working with children
• Experience of providing sporting activities for children
• Coaching qualifications in areas of sport and physical activity
• A full understanding of safeguarding procedures related to children and young people.
• Fulfil the requirements of a satisfactory DBS disclosure
