Business Support Officer (Management Team) – Ref: CH22419

£20,143- £23,600 per annum

Walsall Council has an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Officer to join our Management Team. 

This role is to support the Assistant Director of Children’s Services and provide effective and efficient support that enables the provision of a quality service to children, young people, their families and the community.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a high level supportive administrative environment, preferable within a Children’s Service organisation. You should have excellent organisational and communication skills, the ability to manage deadlines and work confidently under pressure.

Experience of IT software is important, specifically Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook).

This is a rewarding role working with a friendly team, who are supportive of each other and are highly committed to making a difference.

This post is covered by the Government’s Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers. 

Longlisted candidates will be required to attend an assessment prior to final shortlisting – date to be arranged.
