Playworker Apprenticeship : Beehive Club, Kineton Green Primary School

Kineton Green Primary School is looking for a new member of their team to help provide a safe, caring and warm environment for the children and the staff. The successful candidate will enjoy working with children, already have a good level of literacy and numeracy and will be willing to undertake a level 2 or 3 qualification in Playwork.

Apprenticeship summary

Monthly salary: National minimum wage for age

Working week: 30 hrs per week, term time only - shifts TBC by employer

Duration : 15 months

Duties to Include:

• To support the implementation of curriculum planning following the lead from the Manager including:

- Setting up of resources

- Engaging with children

- Assessing and recording progress

- Clearing away

• To be flexible and creative and be committed to providing first class childcare/education

• To promote good practice in a professional and inclusive manner

• To work within school policies and procedures

• To have an understanding of the National Curriculum Standards

• To promote inclusive attitudes and practices

• To undertake such duties as may become necessary to ensure the successful running of the setting

• To ensure the facility is ready for use including food preparation, eating areas, play space etc.

Our Beehive Club was fairly recently established as part of our Extended Services provision, providing our parents with great, quality childcare from 7.30am until 6pm, five days per week.
