The Role

120.0 Hours per Year

Coventry Diocesan Board of Education serves 75 schools and academies providing an education for 18,000 children and young people.

The main purpose of the role is to: 

  • Provide effective administrative support to the DBE and its committees
  • Ensure the DBE is properly constituted 
  • Manage information effectively in accordance with legal requirements

We are looking for a clerk who: 

  • has outstanding administrative skills; 
  • proactively seeks to support the DBE by working conscientiously and acting on initiative; 
  • is proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Word;
  • is very well organised and self-motivated; 
  • has excellent written and verbal communication skills; 
  • always pays attention to detail, has a positive attitude and enjoys being a supportive team player.

Hours - 120 hours, term time (exceptional circumstances may require some work during school holidays) 

Contract term: Permanent with a 6 month probationary period
