We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, innovative and creative manager to lead the on-going shaping and development of Solihull’s Reablement Service.

Focussed on delivering a person centred approach, based on a strong Occupational Therapy ethos, this multi-disciplinary service seeks to incorporate a significant element of direct service provision – a CQC registered domiciliary service that works very closely with therapists and social care workers to deliver bespoke reablement care plans.

As Team Manager you will work with colleagues across adult social care and health where you will provide strong leadership and supervision. You will manage and support the team to adapt to change and be responsive to the particular pressures of supporting hospital discharge. You will have a strong grasp on team performance and data, and at all times maintain a focus on promoting independence.

To be successful in the role you will:

  • have a relevant Occupational Therapy qualification and significant management experience in OT
  • Be able to lead, support, mentor and develop a multi-disciplinary team of adult social care staff
  • Build positive relationships with a wide range of colleagues and partners
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
