Salary G12 £42,190- £49,448 per annum

Walsall Council is transforming how it works. Developing technologies, customer expectations and external budget pressures mean we need to modernise and rethink how we deliver our services.

The Adult Social Care Directorate are ambitious in wanting to drive change and improvement in the way we support our residents to live fulfilled and independent lives, within their community, in a way which best meets their needs and circumstances.

We are recruiting a Programme and Business Services Manager to join our Adult Social Care Business Services and Programme Management Office, to join us in driving forward change and improvement, through leading on the delivery of Social Care business projects. The post holder will mobilise business resources to achieve agreed plans and milestones to ensure project deliverables are achieved within time, cost and quality criteria, whilst managing project risks and issues.

If you’re ready for your next challenge, we’re ready to hear from you.

The collaborative nature of the work requires excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills. The broad scope of the role requires a results-focused approach, supported by well-developed analytical planning, social care work based experience knowledge and strong project management skills.
