In order to maintain high standards it is necessary to have a diverse workforce who are highly competent and experienced, whose main focus is ensuring the services we offer meet the aspirations and needs of our local community.

To support the Private Sector Housing Team with public health funerals, refuse complaints, housing enforcement, licensing of Houses in Multiple Occupation and caravan sites, grants and loans, caravan site inspection and other functions, to include undertaking enforcement action and handling own caseload of complaints and inspections.

To provide support to the Strategic Housing Services Section in monitoring performance, budgets, fee charging, ordering, debt recovery.

To lead in the administration of the computer database and other information storage systems.

Data entry, analysis and reporting on a range of databases and information systems .

Experience of dealing with the public

Experience of Local Government

Experience of using database and spreadsheet systems

5 GCSE A - C or equivalent including Maths and English or equivalent.

Experience of dealing with the public for a minimum of one year. Experience of using database and spread sheet systems. You will also need to be well organised.

This is a fixed term post.
