Finance Systems Analyst
Coventry is an exciting place to be, currently in its year as a European City of Sport in 2019 and building to being UK City of Culture in 2021, it also has ambitious plans to change the city centre and attract new business and jobs into the city.
This isn’t without challenges. Over the last 10 years council funding has reduced meaning that we have to change what we do and how we do it.
With increasing commercial focus alongside stretched resources there are constant demands on the Financial Systems team to review processes and adapt the financial system and reports to meet the needs of the council.
The Financial Systems team sits within the Financial Management team in the Place Directorate of the Council. It is our responsibility to maintain the integrity of the system as well as build and test developments and upgrades. We also develop and maintain dashboards for senior managers using Power BI and will be taking on the maintenance of the OnePlace system which is used to sell services to schools.
There is an upgrade to Agresso due imminently and a long future developments list. We are currently looking to recruit a full-time Finance Systems Analyst to support this work.
