Salary: £17,262 to £19,704

About the role:

To provide specialist administrative support to the Resilience Unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• To organise agendas, minutes and action tracking of departmental meetings internally and externally e.g. Local Protect and Prepare Board and Local Resilience Forum sub groups.
• Write reports and statistics as directed
• Assist with the departments auditing processes as directed e.g. HMICFRS, Cabinet Office and SPR compliance.
• Work to departmental key deadlines for returns
• Provide administrative support to resilience leads e.g. Business Continuity, Testing and Exercising, Emergency planning and Chief Inspector as required.
• Maintain and update folders and intranet for preparedness e.g. force intranet systems SharePoint and Resilience Direct
• Collating and monitoring wider departmental performance

Essential Requirements:

• Excellent administration skills
• Can operate in a fast paced environment
• Organisational skills
• Understanding of IT systems, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
• Willing to undergo MV and SC Clearance

The post holder will be expected to be flexible in travelling around West Midlands Police area and occasionally regional/national working locations. Support will be given by the department with agile working arrangements. Job Share arrangements will be considered.
