This is an exciting new role that has developed following the launch of the Regional Adoption Agency, Adoption@Heart. Adoption@Heart delivers adoption services on behalf of Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton local authorities.
As a local authority we need adoptive placements for our children, therefore we require someone who has a sound knowledge of adoption. You will provide professional advice to the Agency Decision Maker (ADM) and colleagues internally and ensure arrangements for the ADM are in place.
In this new role you will drive early permanence, reduce timescales in achieving adoption and other permanent outcomes where children cannot grow up in their birth family. In this role you will work alongside colleagues in the social work teams across Dudley and Adoption@Heart.
