Administrative Assistant - Pastoral Support

£16,772-£19,283 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Academy term time only.

Staff work hours: 8:20 am until 5:10 pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday with a 4:00 pm finish on Wednesday and 3:55 pm finish on Friday.

The JCB Academy was established in September 2010, the first of a brand new kind of school in the UK, with a focus on delivering high-quality engineering and business education. 

Since opening we have been consistently successful - our Ofsted inspection in September 2018 recognised us as a “Good” school with “outstanding” features, including progress in mathematics, engineering and vocational courses and the dedication to keeping students safe and secure.  Pupil numbers are growing - we have been oversubscribed every year, including for entry this September.

We need an experienced administrator to join our busy Pastoral Team. Your duties will include providing support to the pastoral team, including the Vice Principal, Director of KS4 and House Team Leaders, issuing letters in a timely manner and ensuring the school calendar is kept up to date. It is therefore essential that you have excellent organisation and prioritisation skills and are able to multi task.
