Science Technician
Grade 3 – (£16,863 - £17,391 per annum - Pay Award Pending)
Permanent / Full Time 37 hours per week / Term Time Only - Required for September 2019
An opportunity has arisen for a Science Technician with excellent communication skills to work in a
successful and supportive department. Duties include the preparation of materials, assisting teachers with practical lessons, oversight of specialist teaching areas, setting up and trying out of experiments, routine administration, maintenance and safety procedures and testing. Good ICT skills will be required.
The Salary Scale is the Local Authority’s Grade 3 £16,863 - £17,391 per annum (pay award pending). Actual starting salary will be in the region of £14,604pa. Working hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday with a 30 minute lunch break.
