Job Details
Sandwell Residential Educational Service is recruiting an Instructor Level 1. This vacancy is fixed term until August 2020.
SRES 3-5 £19,210- £21,210 at the Frank Chapman Outdoor Education Centre in Bewdley, Worcestershire.
The centre, founded in 1928, is part of the Sandwell Residential Education Service (SRES) which is a group of 4 centres across the Midlands and North Wales. We are an AHOEC Gold Standard centre, situated in 90 acres of SSSI oak forest working with our sister centres in Edgmond Hall, Ingestre Hall and Plas Gwynant to provide for the needs of Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council and others.
The post requires:
Higher/Further Education qualification or equivalent 1-year work experience in Outdoor Learning / Education.
Two of the following and two of the following qualifications are essential:
CWA or higher
WGL or higher (6 months)
GNAS Archery Leader (Level 1 Coach in Archery)
IOL Foundation Bushcraft (1 Year)
APIOL (1 Year)
MTB (Level 1)
Desirable qualifications are:
Forest School/Environmental Management or other such equivalent qualifications and an enhanced DBS clearance is required for this role.
