Do you want to make a difference to someone’s life?
Brandon Wood Farm is a day opportunity located on the border of Coventry and Warwickshire. We have a small number of large and small breed animals that service users are supported to care for each day. The farm also has a number of gardened areas that service users tend and grow vegetables, fruits and plants. We support people that may not be able to access community activities due to their complex needs and behaviours that challenge. Due to our unique setting we are able to provide the space and tranquillity to people who are sensitive to sensory overload.

You can enhance the service users experience by leading and supporting a variety of activities indoor and outdoor, working as part of a team member, on your own and using your initiative to create a stimulating environment and experience.
Within the role you must be able to demonstrate a positive attitude to service users' rights, choice and dignity. You will need to be patient and imaginative in ways to engage with people. You must be able to communicate effectively with the people you support, parents/carers and with your colleagues. An understanding of Autism and complex behaviours that make it difficult for people to participate in community activities. In return, we will ensure that you are provided with quality training and qualifications to enable you to carry out your role effectively and in line with our policies and procedures.
