A six month fixed term contract has arisen within the Fostering Team for a qualified Social Worker.
We are looking for a passionate, engaging, qualified social worker to join our foster carers recruitment team. If you want to get involved in finding the right people to foster for Sandwell, assessing the suitability of applicants and ensuring that our children get the foster carers they deserve, we want you to join us. Candidates must have completed their ASYE.

Social Worker Responsibilities

Undertake initial visits
Carrying out Stage 1Aassessments
Carrying our Form F Aassessments
Under management supervision, identify appropriate progression routes
Support recruitment events & foster carer retention activities.
The ideal Social Worker
-
Whilst using best practice always ensuring all legislative requirements are met.
We are a child focused organisation and expect all staff to keep the needs of children
front and centre to their work at all times. Produce written reports and be responsible for updating records online using the
Trust’s Liquid Logic electronic filing system.
