We are seeking a person experienced in delivering front line customer services to respond to enquiries from tenants about the repairs service.

Maintenance Support Officers work as part of our Housing Direct Works repairs team to arrange appointments with tenants in order to plan the work of the tradesmen. You will be responsible for raising repairs orders in accordance with agreed priorities and dealing with enquiries about the work.

Officers work closely with the Supervisors to ensuring that repairs systems are provided effectively. They also liaise with subcontractors to follow up enquiries.

The successful candidate will require good customer care skills, be able to communicate well and have excellent organisational skills. They must be computer literate and be able to use databases, spreadsheets and word processing applications.

Candidates should be able to show knowledge of housing maintenance and the building trade. Officers are expected to work confidently as part of a team and be able to work calmly under pressure. They must be flexible and have positive attitude to completing various differing tasks. The successful candidate will be able to show that they are will be enthusiastic and motivated to provide a quality and efficient service for our tenants.
