Coventry's Fostering Service is seeking to recruit a Fostering Recruitment worker, working a fixed pattern over 2.5 days per week.  In this role you will undertake a variety of tasks, both in recruiting and supporting prospective fostering applicants on their journey. 

These tasks will include:

  • Preparing and delivering presentations regarding foster carer recruitment
  • Involvement with marketing and communication materials which assist in the recruitment of fostering families for Coventry
  • Manage a caseload of fostering applications  

Coventry City Council is investing strongly in its Fostering provision with a target to significantly increase the number of looked after children placed with internal foster carers.   

Before applying for this role, you must have an interest in recruiting foster carers and experience of working either directly with fostering carers or in a related field.  An experience of delivering training would be advantageous. 

Working Hours:  18.5 Hours per Week
