Looking for a new challenge? Then look no further!

We have a vacancy for suitably qualified Social Worker to join our Recovery Team at Swanswell Point in Coventry.

The focus of our work is on those people living with chronic & enduring mental disorders. The work is wide ranging & age independent, covering all of Coventry. We work closely with carers/families,  many third sector agencies and specialist providers to enable our citizens to have the best opportunity to manage their recovery and maximise their life opportunities. The range of complex mental health, legal and  social circumstances offer social workers the opportunity to really broaden their skills in this area of work.

We are a team consisting of some 50+ staff and are multi-disciplinary, including qualified and unqualified practitioners. We are a busy, supportive team who truly embrace working in an integrated way. We offer excellent support, encourage professional growth and development through multi-disciplinary working and regular professional supervision & post qualifying training.

We are centrally based in Coventry. We have local amenities, including easy access to the City Centre and an excellent transport network. We support agile working although being a very busy multi-disciplinary team requires workers to be regularly on-site to partake in team meetings, allocation meetings, supervision sessions etc.

We would specifically welcome applications from practicing AMHP’s who will be expected to participate in the city-wide rota for Mental Health Act assessments.Social Workers and other Mental Health professionals who wish to achieve AMHP status are also encouraged to apply. We have an excellent record of support and training newly qualified social workers to become experienced mental health professionals.
