Relief Passenger Assistant 

Salary: £9.18 per hour plus 14.5% enhancement


Additional enhancements are paid in terms of travelling expenses.
No Set hours. Zero contracted hours per week. Ongoing contract

Relief Passenger Assistants cover for Contacted Passenger Assistant sickness, holidays and busy periods.
Passenger Assistant duties are varied covering a variety of routes transporting children and adult client groups. The majority of Relief Passenger Assistant cover required is Monday to Friday by way of example  7am to 9.15 and 2.45 and  5:00 pm (Specific route times may vary ) on a split shift, to safely transport children or adults of a morning and returning them home in the afternoon. There is also the opportunity to cover other middle of the day trips  .


There is a particular requirement for Passenger Assistants in the Worcester, Malvern, Kidderminster, Bromsgrove, Evesham and Redditch areas. 


Relief Passenger Assistants will need to have the means to get to the various contract starting points 
We are looking to appoint enthusiastic, flexible individuals who are calm under pressure with good communication and people skills with regard to children and adults. You will need to be a team player working closely with the driver transporting pupils, ensuring their comfort and safety.
A key task in this role is to physically assist pupils as necessary to and from the vehicle and help them on and off the minibus by means of step or the vehicle lift according to level of need.
Candidates require the ability to undertake moderate physical activity sometimes in a confined space
Due to the nature of the work a criminal records check via the DBS disclosure service will also be required.     

A full package of training will be provided to support you in the role should you be successful candidate.
