LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANTS
Grade 5 (£18,319 – 19,819 pro rata), 37 hours a week, Term Time, Temporary
We seek to appoint effective and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join our Learning Support Team, from September 2019, at this highly successful and heavily over-subscribed school which is the highest performing 11-18 school in Staffordshire and in the top 5% of schools nationally for progress. We gained ‘Good’ in our 2018 Ofsted inspection and as part of the Local Authority’s quality assurance strategy, we have gained Category 1 status, the highest category of school performance, for three years running.
This post will involve the provision of high quality learning support for children and young people across the Academy. The successful candidate will bring relevant knowledge and skills at Level 2 or educated to degree level (please refer to the job profile) from their own education and experience. They must be versatile, flexible and a good team member who works collaboratively with colleagues.
We welcome applications from adults who can support and engage students with good impact on their academic performance. We offer a positive school culture, opportunities for further professional development and strong support from the Senior Leadership Team.
