Salary G9 £32,552- £37,475 per annum
Full-Time, Permanent Position

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer to join the Conveyancing team.

Walsall Council, a unitary authority, carries out a wide variety of conveyancing and property development work within the borough. You will be working with a highly motivated team.

The successful applicant will be expected to manage their own caseload and report to the Principal Solicitor for the Built & Natural Environment Team. Considerable experience in conveyancing and property development is preferred.

Walsall is a great place to work, with extensive regeneration taking place within the borough and planned for its future.  Recent developments have delivered a new college, the start of development of the Walsall Waterfront with new residential accommodation, hotels, retail and leisure facilities.

As an employer we provide an attractive employment package which includes:

  • A generous annual leave entitlement offering a minimum 27 days leave per year (for this post) plus 9 concessionary days
  • A flexible working scheme that allows up to a further 12 days leave per year
