£58,002.70 - £60,405.42 per annum (pro rata)
37 hours per week
Redditch Borough Council is proud to be a social landlord and is looking for an experienced Housing Manager who is committed and passionate about supporting tenants to achieve wellbeing, independence and healthy lives.
You would be starting at an exciting time, joining a new management team that embraces change and a positive learning culture for all colleagues. In this newly created senior post you will be part of a team shaping the vision, values, aims and aspirations for housing across the Borough, alongside providing leadership and strategic direction of the council’s Housing Tenancy and Advisory Teams.
You will play a major role in improving the lives of our tenants and in meeting our strategic purpose of ‘Help me find somewhere to live in my locality’. If you have the following attributes we would like to hear from you:
- Extensive experience of delivering change in a housing management service
- A focus and commitment to understanding the needs of customers and delivering an excellent customer experience
- A proven track record of providing leadership and strategic direction
- Outstanding knowledge of relevant legislation and good practice.
The successful candidate will be required to work closely together with all the Council’s services and develop relationships with internal and external partners to bring about service improvements.
The closing date for receipt of completed applications is Monday 16 September 2019.
Assessments will take place week commencing 23 September 2019 and Interviews will be held on 30 September and 1 October 2019.
