Following the promotion of the previous post-holder we have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Senior Accounting Technician to join our small dedicated Financial Systems and Support team.
You will be joining us at a particularly exciting time as we enter a period of change and our current financial system transitions to Oracle Cloud.
During the Oracle Cloud implementation period, as Senior Accounting Technician you will have the opportunity to participate in the project work-streams, which may involve consulting with system users, researching best practice, providing recommendations, assisting in the implementation of new processes and the design and delivery of training media. As part of this interesting and varied role you will also be involved in ensuring the smooth running and maintenance of Oracle Financials, responding to requests for support and assistance, reviewing and developing processes and advising on solutions to problems.
To be successful you will have AAT full membership with proven financial experience in a customer focussed environment. You will have excellent analytical and IT skills including experience of using Excel (or equivalent) at an advanced level, together with effective communication and organisational skills.
