Non-stop, interesting, challenging and never dull. That’s what it means to work in the ICT Service Desk. This can range from something simple as a password reset to working alongside a project team, delivering a highly complex system, we provide the highest-quality service to everyone.

About you:

We are looking for a motivated, passionate and committed person to work in our User Support Team.  If you have proven experience of working in an IT Service Desk and you are interested in computers, supporting end users and like solving problems, this could be the perfect job for you.

You will provide telephone and email support along with managing self-service ticket requests to Coventry City Council and Schools to help to resolve software and hardware problems for computer users.

You will need the following

  • A good working knowledge of Office 365, Active Directory and Windows 10.
  • Good telephone skills.
  • Good triage and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

The pace at which technology is moving within the council means that you will need to be comfortable and adaptable with both a constantly changing environment and customer requirements. There will be a need for continual self-assessment on an individual and team basis assessing how we can continually improve the service provided to our customers.
