Scale 5 (£22,021 – 23,836 per annum)

Full time, fixed term: September 19 - July 20 (possibility of extending to July 21)

We are looking to appoint an Assistant Psychologist to join Telford and Wrekin Educational Psychology Service (EPS) on a full time basis. This is a one year post with the possibility of extending to two years; the expectation is that you will apply for professional doctoral training in educational psychology.

We work with children and young people aged 0-25 years, their parents and carers, schools, early years and post 16 settings applying psychology to help promote wellbeing and achievement.  This work involves a focus on individual children and young people, groups as well as work at an organisational level.   Telford and Wrekin EPS also has a statutory role in relation to education, health and care needs assessments.  We provide in-service training for colleagues in schools and settings.  We are seeking to appoint an assistant psychologist to support this work.
