2 x 37 Hours per week – Permanent

We are looking for 2 enthusiastic and motivated people to work as Deputy Resource Manager (Disabilities) at our Centres offering short term breaks for young people with learning disabilities.  This is an ideal opportunity for someone with managerial experience and of working with children & young people with a wide variety of specialised needs. 

The Deputy Resource Manager will undertake a lead role in supporting the Service Manager in ensuring that the Centres fulfil all the necessary requirements under the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015.  Along with the Quality Standards for Children’s Homes 2015 and associated frameworks and legislation relevant to the improvements of outcomes for looked after children.

You must have a minimum of NVQ or QCF Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People, and desirably NVQ L4 or QCF L5 in Management or reflect a commitment to undertake the qualification on appointment.

The Deputy Managers will fulfil all the necessary requirements under the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015.  Along with the Quality Standards for Children’s Homes 2015 and associated frameworks and legislation relevant to the improvements of outcomes for looked after children
