Job Details
We are looking to appoint a caring and reliable Lunchtime Supervisor to join our team that supports the wellbeing of pupils at George Betts Primary Academy.
The successful applicant will be highly motivated, enthusiastic and able to demonstrate the following qualities required to be effective in this important role; friendly; fair; proactive; confident; calm and positive.
The candidate must enjoy working with children, be able to use their initiative and be willing to implement the school’s behaviour policy, where appropriate. Previous experience of working with children is an advantage and you must be an excellent role model for our children.
A full job description will be included in the application pack, as an overview, duties will include:
- Supervision of children before and after their meal
- Participating in games and activities with the children during outdoor play
- Escorting children to and from the dining room
- Assisting children with table manners, use of cutlery, cutting of meat, serving etc.
- Cleaning up any spillages
Start date: October – November 2019
