6.0 hours per week (Saturdays)
The Library of Birmingham is the largest public library in Europe. We receive in excess of 20,000 visitors each week. The Library of Birmingham is a busy environment withvaried enquiries from library users, and visitors. We host many events and exhibitions along with Birmingham's only Tourist Information Centre.
Experience of working within a public service delivering front line customer service such as dealing with enquiries; provision of advice, guidance and support. Sufficient knowledge of ICT systems and devices to provide assistance to customers Demonstrates a commitment to providing a quality service to others in a positive manner Pleasant and effective manner with customers and colleagues Ability to operate flexibly understanding the requirement to change priorities according to the needs of the service.
