ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT – EDUCATIONAL VISITS

Grade 4 – (£17,391 - £18,319 per annum - Pay Award Pending – Starting £9.01 per hour)

Permanent / Part Time 30 hours per week / Term Time Only - Required as soon as possible

We require an Administration Assistant to join our support staff team with a particular focus on

coordinating Educational Visits and providing administrative support for the Duke of Edinburgh Award programme. This role is essential in supporting the large number of local, national and international visits that take place as part of school life and supports wider enrichment opportunities for students. This role

involves liaison with colleagues across the school and would suit someone who thrives on a proactive approach.

The successful candidate will have excellent administrative skills, IT skills and be highly efficient and

organised. They will be able to deal sensitively with a variety of situations with external organisations, staff, students and parents. A calm, flexible approach and highly accurate written communication are essential.

The job description is generic but there will be every opportunity as part of the interview process to

discuss the role in detail.

The Salary Scale is the Local Authority’s Grade 4 £17,391 - £18,319 per annum, starting at £9.01 per hour, pay award pending. Actual starting salary will be approximately £12,191 per annum. Working hours are8:30am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday with a 30 minute lunch break.
