Teaching Assistant – Hutchinson Memorial CE First School, part of the Uttoxeter Learning Trust
Salary: Grade 3 Scp 10 -13; £6,890 - £7,240
Hours: 13.5 hours per week
Mondays & Tuesdays 8.45am – 4.00pm
Temporary 1 year contract in the first instance
Hutchinson Memorial CE First School (rated Outstanding, Ofsted 2016) is looking to appoint an excellent, enthusiastic and highly motivated Teaching Assistant who enjoys working as part of a team to join our friendly and experienced staff.
This is a temporary 1 year contract in the first instance.
The successful candidate will be primarily based in the Foundation Stage, working under the direction of our EYFS Leader and class teacher.
The post holder will be supporting the outstanding provision within our small, friendly and caring First School and will:
Have a passion for working with children
Have an excellent understanding of how to be an effective Teaching Assistant within the Foundation Stage (Nursery & Reception)
Be flexible, proactive and work effectively as part of a term
Understand how children learn and be able to support their development with key literacy, mathematics and personal skills
Have high expectations and be able to inspire children to learn
Hold a full and relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
