Grade: G3 £17,173 - £18,672 pro-rata

32.5 - hours per week (Mon-Fri 8.30am - 4.00pm) – term time only.

We are seeking to appoint an efficient and customer focused Administrative Assistant to join our team.  You will be responsible for reception duties, answering general telephone and face to face enquiries and signing in visitors and entry system security.  You will assist in arrangements for school trips & events, which will include providing administrative support to teaching staff and others.  Under the direction of the School Business Manager you will support in the marketing and promoting the school. The flexibility to work additional hours would be an advantage.                              

You will need to be able to contribute to the changing work of our team.  A can-do problem solving approach, developing new solutions to new problems, combined with attention to detail is essential for this post.  Previous experience of working in an office environment is essential, along with an understanding of school roles and responsibilities.  The successful candidate will have strong communication and front of house skills coupled with good literacy and numeracy skills; able to work under their own direction; have excellent time management skills and thrive on challenge.
