An exciting opportunity has arisen to provide 12 months maternity cover working within the Development Management side of the Councils wider planning service. The successful applicant will need to:

  • Be an experienced, enthusiastic and talented planning professional;
  • Have experience dealing with a wide range of planning application types;
  • Show a proven track record of being responsible for your own wide and varied caseload;
  • Be experienced in achieving quality planning outcomes;
  • Have excellent report-writing skills;
  • Be comfortable working independently on own initiative as well as part of a team to achieve shared objectives;
  • Have the ability to help meet national and local performance indicators;
  • Be eligible for membership of the RTPI; and
  • Hold a valid driving licence.
