About the team

Sprint is a brand new, modern, high-quality public transport service with dedicated bus lanes and priority through areas of congestion. This will make the journey times much more reliable. The vehicles will offer passengers a level of service and comfort like a tram, with off-board ticketing, multiple-door boarding, wheelchair and pushchair access, free Wi-Fi, and air conditioning as well as on-board audio-visual announcements and travel information.

Role Responsibilities

We currently have an exciting opportunity for two Assistant Project Managers within our Sprint Team. Working alongside our Delivery Managers on a high profile project across the West Midlands, you will be responsible for assisting in all elements of project management, development and delivery.  You’ll be responsible for ensuring project documentation, including reports, risk registers, project dashboards and schedules are produced accurately and on time. You will also liaise with stakeholders, both internally and externally, so excellent interpersonal and communications skills are essential.

Who we need

We are a busy team, and we are looking for two enthusiastic and motivated people who are experienced in supporting major projects.  To succeed in this role, you will have a professional and can-do attitude, along with an open minded approach to problem solving.  You’ll have the ability to work under pressure and importantly, you’ll be passionate about going the extra mile to exceed expectations.  You’ll have strong analytical, numerical and written skills.

You should hold a technical qualification in civil engineering or a similar relevant field, be proficient in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, along with all Microsoft packages, and used to presenting information using different media.
